How do I get started with Marc's Inventory?

Getting started is easy! Sign up for a free trial, set up your account, and import your current inventory data. Our onboarding guide and video tutorials will walk you through each step. You can be up and running in less than 30 minutes.

What file formats can I import inventory data from?

We support CSV, Excel (XLSX), and JSON formats. You can also import directly from QuickBooks or use our API for automated data syncing. Our import tool includes validation to catch errors before they're added to your inventory.

How is my data backed up and protected?

Your data is automatically backed up daily with point-in-time recovery, and replicated across multiple AWS availability zones. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store it. We comply with GDPR and CCPA. For more details, visit our Security page.

Can I integrate with my existing accounting software?

Yes! Marc's Inventory integrates seamlessly with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and other popular accounting platforms via our API. You can also connect with Shippo for shipping integration. See our full list of supported integrations.

What is the pricing based on?

Marc's Inventory uses flat-tier monthly pricing: Starter $129/mo (single location), Professional $299/mo (up to 5 locations + custom merch workflow), Business $599/mo (unlimited locations + REST API). How do I export my data if I want to leave?

You own your data. You can export all your inventory data in CSV, Excel, or JSON format at any time. We also support direct data transfers to QuickBooks or other systems. No data is locked in, and we make it easy to migrate.

Can I import a team roster from a CSV?

Yes. Upload a CSV with player names, numbers, and sizes, and the system will auto-generate a personalized line item for each row, apply your customization template, and build a consolidated team order with a ready-to-print roster sheet.

What decoration methods do you support?

Screen print, embroidery, dye-sublimation, DTG, DTF, heat transfer, and vinyl. Tag each job with its method and the print queue routes it to the correct station. You can attach stitch files, ink color callouts, placement notes, and per-garment art.

Can I reorder from a previous season?

Yes. Any past order can be duplicated in one click — roster, sizes, customizations, and artwork all carry over. Seasonal shops use this for returning teams and annual refreshes.

Do you integrate with SanMar, S&S, or Alphabroder?

Supplier catalog import is on the roadmap. Today you can bulk-import blank SKUs via CSV from any supplier, and we're actively building direct connectors. Let us know which supplier you use — it influences which we build next.
